About fire sprinkler head safety

It’s time for the holiday season and fire safety is something that should not be taken for example. My personal experience as a licensed electrician has seen death from faulty fire safety equipment. In 2011 many states will have to option to adopt the new fire code requiring fire suppression systems.
There is a fire every 80 seconds in the U.S. and the first 15 minutes is the time between life and absolute death. Fire sprinkler heads come in many types. More typical is the verticle type and the flush mount type. Both types are activated by heat, when the heat gets hot enough the glass bulb or solder will break and the water mixture will start to pour out.
In most sprinkler head systems their is a flow valve by the water meter that is monitored by 3rd party to insure that the system has been activated and take the appropriate response.

  • Thanks for your advice on this blog. Just one thing I would choose to say is purchasing gadgets items on the Internet is not something new. The fact is, in the past decade alone, the market for online consumer electronics has grown a great deal. Today, you could find practically any type of electronic device and gizmo on the Internet, including cameras and camcorders to computer spare parts and games consoles.
